TERMITE & WDI Inspections

Termites & Wood Destroying Insects

Subterranean termites can be detrimental to a home and cause approximately 5 billion dollars’ worth of damage annually to homes according to the NPMA (National Pest Management Association).  With single repair costs from home damage averaging from $ 3,000.00 or more, dependent upon the amount of damage, type of damage and geographic location. Termites are in 49 states including our backyards of Sussex and Kent County, Delaware where subterranean termites are quite active allowing for a higher potential for home infestations due to the high moisture and humidity, weather and rain patterns, and wooded areas. Unfortunately, because of the secretive and underground life of termites, it is challenging to know when you may have termites, allowing them to go undetected and cause unknown amounts of damage without you even being aware they are in your home. The cost of Homeowner Termite Inspections is much cheaper than the cost of potential repairs to a home and the possible structural damage risks due to a subterranean termite or other wood destroying insect infestation.
