Homeowner Termite Inspection

Our thorough Annual Homeowner Termite Inspections are designed to help protect against the possibility of a subterranean termite infestation in your home and to allow for early detection and a proactive treatment approach.

Termite inspections are performed by a certified and trained technician and include visual inspection of all accessible areas of the property including the home, perimeter of the house, foundation, crawlspace, basement, porch, garage, and any attached buildings for evidence of
subterranean termite activity. Our technician will also look for evidence of other wood-destroying insects, Carpenter Ants, Wood Boring Beetles, and Carpenter Bees. During the inspection, we will check for several different signs of activity including active/live insects, dead insects and insect parts, termite shelter tubes / tunnels, frass and insect excrement, entrance and exit holes, kick-out holes, staining, bubbling / peeling paint, soft, buckling, hollow, or rotting wood and exit hole debris. Also, we will notify you of any other general findings made during our homeowner termite inspection that may be helpful to you such as leaking pipes, crawlspace insulation issues, foundation cracks, dryer vent connection, clogged gutters, and mold, as well as any other concerns we may have found during the inspection. Photos will be provided of findings, as needed. Our Homeowner Termite Inspections are performed annually. When possible, it is recommended that all furnishings, stored items, and appliances be moved away from walls, including a garage for the inspection process to eliminate any possible obstructed and inaccessible areas. In addition, it is necessary that you notify Integrity Pest Solutions of any property structural or soil changes such as crawlspace encapsulations, property/home/garage additions, blacktop or concrete changes, soil fill, property grading, or digging in soil as they may affect the inspection process, as well as any preventative treatment barriers that have been applied to the property.

Upon completion of our termite inspection, you will receive the completed termite inspection report, which will outline our inspection findings. There are conditions, often referred to as conducive conditions, which are areas that increase the potential risk for a termite infestation that was found during the inspection. Favorable conditions should be eliminated when possible to decrease the potential for termite activity, and include wood/siding to ground contact, dense vegetation/mulch close to the home, drainage problems, firewood/stored lumber close to the house, clogged gutters, leaking plumbing, and moisture concerns. The report findings on conducive conditions are meant to be helpful to the homeowner by notifying them of specific conditions on and around their property that may attract termites to the home, as well as other insects and pests. Inaccessible and obstructed areas will also be reported such as foam board/insulation, ductwork, stored items, appliances, and wall coverings.

The Homeowner Termite Inspection program includes a one year warranty up to five years, based on annual inspection renewals and following of the preventative soil treatment program. If the termites are found within the one-year guarantee period, a return visit for additional treatments to the affected area will be made at no additional charge for the guaranteed warranty year.

If termite activity is found during our inspection, a Guaranteed Termite Treatment service will be recommended and offered at the time of inspection. Our comprehensive termite treatments are guaranteed for one year and will be performed by a trained and certified technician. The termite treatment can be expedited and scheduled at your convenience. If other wood destroying insect evidence is found, Integrity Pest Solutions will also recommend treatment and offer treatment options at the time of service for the specific target insect.
